Hi there, my name is Alex. I’ve worked in game development for over a decade and a half now as Senior Quality Assurance in Vancouver B.C.
I’m good at that job, and take pride in what I do, but I’ve always wanted to actually make games myself. Not just test them.
One day I opened up Unreal with the determination to complete one game – no matter what it took to do it in my free time. It may have been a few years but I eventually completed Dark Strolls.
Immediately afterwards I started working on my next game that would eventually become The Labyrinth At The End Of Time – which I’m still working on.
I’m currently working full-time as a Senior QA at a mobile game studio and working on The Labyrinth At The End Of Time whenever I am able to.
Making my own game has been incredibly fulfilling and has made me realize that the only way I’ll ever get to work on the types of games I want to work on – is if I make them myself. The experience has been educating, difficult and extremely rewarding.
If you’d like to talk to me for whatever reason check out the Contact Me page.
Cheers,
-Alex M
